Matilda Mosakeng was born on January 28, 1970, in Naledi, Soweto, Gauteng province. She has a great passion for gardening and enjoys planting different kinds of fruits, vegetables, and trees. Her ultimate dream is to own a large farm and provide employment opportunities for other people in her community. Matilda is committed to making a difference in her community and has been involved in various projects, including the Environment and Climate Change project.

Matilda’s inspiration for gardening came from an exchange visit to Sebokeng, where she was impressed by the garden and the stories shared by the owners. She learned that patience and persistence are essential attributes in life and that we must trust in God to see us through. Matilda believes that by sharing her story and knowledge of gardening, she can help others in her community become self-sufficient and improve their livelihoods.

In addition to her passion for gardening, Matilda is also involved in a feeding scheme in her community that helps feed orphaned children and those who can’t feed themselves. She firmly believes that everyone has a role to play in creating a better future for all. Matilda’s ultimate goal is to be a changemaker in her community and inspire others to make a positive impact in their communities as well.

Mamokete Mkhehlane is an individual who possesses an unwavering determination and drive to make a positive impact in her community. Her passion for sports, art, and culture is undeniable, and she actively participates in these areas to bolster their significance.

Between the years 2006 and 2009, Mamokete selflessly volunteered for the Lovelife project, a testament to her commitment to bettering the lives of others. In addition, she founded the Remmoho Traditional Theater, a group that continues to thrive today, specializing in a range of artistic expressions, including dance, drama, and poetry.

Mamokete’s altruistic endeavors extend beyond the world of art and culture. She has devoted a significant amount of her time to Tsereletso victim empowerment, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering victims of substance abuse and bullying in schools. Through her efforts, she has educated the youth about the dangers of substance abuse, encouraged children to attend school, and educated them on the importance of standing up against bullying.

Furthermore, she provides support to orphaned children who have been abandoned by their parents, demonstrating a deep sense of empathy and compassion.
